[GT Navs] Navs News :)

Happy Wednesday Folks! :)

If you need a little mid week pick me up, here's a video for you. :) Being a part of our awesome community definitely makes me happier than a camel on Wednesday. :)

As per usual, here are some of the updates on what's what in Navs this week :)

Nav Night will be tomorrow  (Thursday) at 7pm in Howey room 204S (S = South). If you are like me and have no idea where Howey 204S is located, watch this nifty video made by one of our very own Navigators. :) After Nav Night, we will have Bible Study and continue our journey through Galatians together. :)

Our Spring Break Trip (March 19-24) will be to Camp Barefoot Republic in Kentucky. It will involve service, fellowship, and fun! See the Facebook page for more details. :) The deadline to signup is Thursday, February 11th. To be considered officially signed up, you must fill out this Google Form and have paid your $50 deposit. Deposits will be accepted at every Nav Night between now and February 11. If you are unable to make it Nav Night and would like to pay your deposit, please talk to Amy May for more information. :)

The deadline to register for The Smokey Mountain Summer Training Program with the Navigators this summer is Saturday, February 20th. This is a great opportunity to invest your summer in growing in your relationship with God. We encourage you to prayerfully consider how you will spend your summer. Spots are filling up quickly, so be sure to apply soon. See the website for more information and details. :)

Well, that's all folks. I hope you are having a wonderful week! You are known and deeply loved by Jesus. May we never forget that. :)

Now, however, that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and beggarly elemental spirits?
-Galatians 4:9 :)

Am I now seeking human approval, or God's approval? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still pleasing people, I would not be a servant of Christ. -Galatians 1:10 :)

Hello, chaplains -

There is a new class at Tech this semester called "Global Religions and Community Engagement." It is being offered through the Ivan Allen College's new LAMP (Leadership and Multi-faith Program) Initiative.  This particular class has room for 15 GT undergrads and 5 students from Emory's Candler School of Theology.  All five of the Candler spots are full, but there is still room for in the class for several more GT students.

Attached is a flyer describing the course.  Please forward to your students.  Maybe someone is still looking for that perfect elective to take this semester!

Thanks,

Steve
