[GT Navs] Navs News :)

Hello Friends! :)

Here are those weekly updates we all love so much (at least I do, and I hope you do too). :)

Weekly Prayer Meetings are starting. Hurray! :) The first meeting will be tomorrow: Thursday, October 1st at 11am on Skiles Walkway (meet in the Student Center by Tech Rec if it is raining). If you are interested in being a part of it please contact Lucy :) Squires (lresquires@hotmail.com or 706-206-5990) or Josh Martin. This week we are meeting Thursday at 11am, but this time is flexible depending on who is interested and what times they are available. So be sure to let us know if you are interested! :)

We will be spending Fall Break on Lake Martin in Alabama! :) There will be options to enjoy outdoor activities like canoeing, kayaking, hiking and indoor relaxation like reading, sleeping, boardgames, and movies. Cost (to cover food/gas) and carpooling details will be announced soon. These both depend on how many people we have coming, so be sure to RSVP to the Facebook Event! If you haven't been invited, be sure to contact Lucy :) Squires (lresquires@hotmail.com) and she will add you. We have the house from Sunday, October 11th through Tuesday, October 13th. This is meant to be a relaxing, fun, and rejuvenating experience, so it is really flexible to come and go as needed. :)

We are having a Tailgate on October 17th before the football game on the IC Lawn. More details will be coming as soon as we know what time the game will be.

If you are interested in being a part of intramurals for phase 2 be sure to contact Natalie Darby (natalie.darby@gmail.com) by the end of the week. :)

Thanks guys! :) I hope you are having an awesome week! :)

Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things; there is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part, which will not be taken away from her. -Luke 10:41-42 :)

[GT Navs] Important Dates :)

Good Morning and Happy Monday to you all :)

I just wanted to let you know about some important dates to mark in your calendars.

The first is Sunday, October 11th through Tuesday, October 13th. This is the Sunday through Tuesday of Fall Break. We are planning a camping trip and some sort of out door adventure for anyone who is interested. We will most likely be leaving Sunday afternoon/evening or Monday morning and coming back on Tuesday. I will send out more details as soon as I have them. The idea is hopefully to go somewhere relatively close to Atlanta so people are able to come and go as needed based on schedules. :)

The second is Friday, October 23rd. We will be going to the Washington Farms Corn Maze in Bogart, GA. :)

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. -Psalm 118:24 :)

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.    -Matthew 22:37-40 :)
