James 1:5-6
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."

Cc: Daniel Watts <daniel.watts@impact360.net>Dear friends/leaders/advisors of the campus ministries at Georgia Tech,I wanted to make you aware of the upcoming Veritas Forum at Georgia Tech. We host these Forums 1-2 times per year in an effort to engage students and faculty in discussions about life's hardest questions and the modern relevance of Jesus Christ. We hope that your ministries will be able to leverage this events to reach out to the campus. We have found one of the most effective means of doing so is when believers invite their classmates and faculty to come to one of these events. My apologies in giving you such late notice of this date. Typically we try to organize and set everything several months in advance but for what ever reason this year it was especially challenging to coordinate speaker and campus facility availabilities. We hope to see you there. Below is a short bio of the speaker and some video clips of him. Thanks for what you are doing on the GT campus for Christ.Blessings,Brandon DixonVeritas Forum Faculty AdvisorDr John Dickson
John is founding Director of the Centre for Public Christianity and Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Ancient History, Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia), where he teaches a course on Christian origins. He has a degree in theology and a doctorate in ancient history, specializing in the birth of Christianity. He has hosted two nationally televised documentaries (The Christ Files and Life of Jesus), authored over a dozen books and is an ordained Anglican minister. He comes highly recommended by John Lennox, is a clear communicator, warm and relevant. Here is a short video of him answering: Did Jesus really rise from the dead? Here is a recording of him lecturing in a setting sort of similar to Veritas. Why trust the Gospels? It's probably the most relevant to our topic area as well; he talks about the historicity of the gospels, as well as increased skepticism toward the trustworthiness of the biblical account.J.
