[GT Navs] Navs Weekly News

Hello everyone!

-Nav Night will be tomorrow at 8:00pm in room 343 of the Student Center. Ben will be sharing his testimony.

-Intramurals are starting up, and we have an ultimate frisbee and wiffleball team. Wiffleball is on Sundays at 4:00pm, and ultimate frisbee is on Sundays between 5:00pm-7:00pm. If you are interested in joining a team or both teams, click here to sign up. You will need to sign in or create an account, and this is a different account than your Buzzport account. From there, choose either ultimate frisbee or wiffleball and search for Navigators in the team drop-down menu. The password for both sports are "navpirates." Agree to the rules and conditions and type in your electronic signature, and you are set. Talk to Ryan Youngblood if you have any questions.

-Bible Studies: The older guys Bible study will be at the Nav House on Wednesdays, with the first one starting tonight at 7:30pm. The older girls Bible study will be at Katie Turner's house at 8:00pm on Tuesdays. If you are a freshman looking for a Bible study, the guys can talk to Chris Hoffman and the girls can talk to Amber Bailey. They will point you in the right direction.

Have a great week and enjoy these Bible jokes:

Where is the first tennis match mentioned in the Bible?
When Joseph served in Pharaoh's court.

Who was the greatest comedian in the Bible?
Samson. He brought the house down.

[GT Navs] RATS Week Events

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to send out a reminder about the Nav events that are going on this week:

Monday night: Dining Hall Invasion - This is a great opportunity to sit with freshman and talk to them about school, activities, and life. People are planning to go to the Brittain Dining Hall at 5:30pm and the Woodruff Dining Hall at 6:00pm. You are also welcome to go to the North Ave Dining Hall.

Tuesday night: You are free to do whatever you want!

Wednesday night: Cookout - We will be eating hamburgers and hot dogs, playing frisbee, and talking to freshman and others who join in on the fun. The cookout will start at 6:00pm at the Campanile. If you want to help cook, then be at the Nav House around 4:30pm. Anyone interested in getting food and drinks for the cookout, Jordan or JP would love to tag along and pay for the food. Please email Katie T. if you are interested in a specific role.

Thursday night: Nav Night - 8:00pm in the Student Center, room 343

Friday night: TBD - We may go see a movie and hangout at Atlantic Station, or have a board game night on campus.

Enjoy your first week of class!

-Chad
