For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

The older girls Bible study will be at Katie Turner's house at 8:00pm on Tuesdays. If you are a freshman looking for a Bible study, the guys can talk to Chris Hoffman and the girls can talk to Amber Bailey. They will point you in the right direction.

Have a great week and enjoy these Bible jokes:

Where is the first tennis match mentioned in the Bible?
When Joseph served in Pharaoh's court.

Who was the greatest comedian in the Bible?
Samson. He brought the house down.

[GT Navs] RATS Week Events

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to send out a reminder about the Nav events that are going on this week:

Monday night: Dining Hall Invasion - This is a great opportunity to sit with freshman and talk to them about school, activities, and life. People are planning to go to the Brittain Dining Hall at 5:30pm and the Woodruff Dining Hall at 6:00pm. You are also welcome to go to the North Ave Dining Hall.

Tuesday night: You are free to do whatever you want!

Wednesday night: Cookout - We will be eating hamburgers and hot dogs, playing frisbee, and talking to freshman and others who join in on the fun. The cookout will start at 6:00pm at the Campanile. If you want to help cook, then be at the Nav House around 4:30pm. Anyone interested in getting food and drinks for the cookout, Jordan or JP would love to tag along and pay for the food. Please email Katie T. if you are interested in a specific role.

Thursday night: Nav Night - 8:00pm in the Student Center, room 343

Friday night: TBD - We may go see a movie and hangout at Atlantic Station, or have a board game night on campus.

Enjoy your first week of class!

[GT Navs] Summer Prayer Letter

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well and are enjoying your summer. Summer is coming to an end, and the fall semester is starting in just three weeks. Last spring, at Purpose at the Peninsula, we talked about a lot of things we hope to see happen this upcoming year. Chris has put together a prayer letter to remind us of those things. Over these next few weeks, continue to prepare your heart for this next year. You can use this letter as a guide to pray for the Bible studies, incoming freshman, our new staff, our ministry on campus, and the growing Navigators ministries at other colleges in Atlanta. I can't wait to see what God is going to do this year! I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Best,
Chad

[GT Navs] Navs Weekly News

-Nav Night will be at the Pirate House this Thursday. There will be free food starting at 6:30 and at 8:00 we'll begin our last Nav Night of the semester! The Pirate House is in Home Park on 1097 Mecaslin St NW.

-"Purpose at the Peninsula" will be this upcoming weekend. It is a merger event between the trip to Wesley's Lake House and the Purpose in the Park event. People will be leaving Friday night and staying through Sunday, but it's flexible, so you can come whenever works for you with studying for finals. From 10-2ish on Saturday we'll have a meeting talking about the vision for Navigators this upcoming year if you want to plan around being there for that portion. It is free, but if you are feeling generous, donations to cover food would be welcome :) Tonight we'll figure out a total count of people going and organize rides. Attached is a document with more info about the trip!

-Rob Thompson is planning a backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail from May 10-13. Talk to him for more info! I believe the trip will involves lots of hiking, fellowship, and sleeping in ENOS. It is not for the faint of heart -- when you poop, you will have to dig your own hole with a shovel. Guys and girls are welcome. Talk to Rob for more info!
