It was really great to see you all at Nav Nite last week! It was so great to hear just the mission for this semester and a reminder of the things that we should be striving to see in our lives. I love the image of the fruit of the Spirit and how if we are abiding in Jesus then we will bear good fruit.
Nav Nite is in the WCF building. This is another ministry's building and we are borrowing their basement for this week. We just want to check it out and see how it goes. Please give feedback at the end of the night about which location you like better. The Ford building or meeting in the WCF building. Also this building in across from MPH and it on Techwood Dr. near the football stadium. Let me know if you need better directions! Can't wait to see you there!
Smokey Mountain Summer is a summer training program (STP) that is in Pigeon Forge, TN and is a summer than you can dedicate to God in order to grow, mature and develop your relationship with God and your love for His people. You can find out more about this program by talking to myself, Casey Jordan, Scott Berninghaus, Alexa Corbit, or Kayla Nightingale, who were all there this past summer. There are also other people who are involved in Navigators who have gone to other locations or previous summers. The link to find out more is: http://www.navigators.org/us/ministries/college/stp/collegiate-stp/smoky-mountain-summer The applications are due by February 19th so please be praying about how God will use your summer!
Donny is our compassion child that we as Navigators have decided to sponsor. He is a wonderful child who we will help better his life. At Nav Nite there will be a board that has his letters, and more information. We recently received a new letter from Donny. If you would like to help support him, we pay compassion $32 every month. If you could bring just a couple of dollars to Nav Nite, there are enough of us to support him. Please help us support him!
Chemistry Joke :)
The Last words of a chemist:
- First the acid, then the water...
- And now the tasting test.
- Why is there no label on this bottle?
- This is a completely safe experimental setup.
I just thought these were funny. Also I'm starting to find it more difficult to find jokes that other people might find funny. So if you have any ideas, let me know :)
