"Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law." -Romans 13:8-10
Have a great Dead Week!

"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe" -Philippians 2:14-15
It's amazing how much we complain without even realizing it. Think of the huge difference it makes being around someone else who doesn't complain. Let's strive to be non-complainers....and shine like stars in the universe. :-)
Have an excellent week!

[GT Navs] Mocktail Party!
We're leaving Tech at 6pm on Friday night to go to dinner at California Dreaming on our way to the lake. Bring money for dinner. You're welcome to check out the menu ahead of time @ California Dreaming. Sign up for a ride at NavNite. If you will not be at NavNite, but would like a ride, please email me, and I'll sign you up.
From dinner, we will head to Lake Lanier to hang out on an awesome houseboat. Bible studies have been assigned different snack & dessert assignments, so ask your Bible study leader what you can help with. At the boat, there will be dancing, eating, chatting and general merriment.
Make sure to dress up. Dress code has traditionally been ladies in nice dresses and menfolk in nice slacks, shirt and tie with optional jacket.
In case it gets chilly on the lake, you might want to bring a jacket of some sort. And if you would like to spend the night on the boat, you are welcome to, as long as you inform Erin Randalow of it ahead of time (tell her at NavNite or email her at erin.randalow@gmail.com).
Let me know if you have any questions. Don't forget to sign up at NavNite or email me if you won't be there. It's going to be a lot of fun!

I hope you're still going strong on 3000-13! Today was day 5 of 14. Remember, we're shooting for 3000 pushups for men/ crunches for ladies, and memorizing Philippians 2:1-13 by next Thursday (4/14). Keep up the good work!

[GT Navs] 3000-13 Challenge!
Yesterday was the first day of 3000-13! The challenge is to do 3000 push-ups for the guys/ sit-ups or crunches for the girls, and memorize 13 verses of scripture by April 14th. That comes out to about 215 push-ups/crunches and one verse per day.
The passage that we are memorizing this year is Philippians 2:1-13. Check it off with a Bible study leader by NavNight on April 14th. Attached is an article on a good method for memorizing large passages of scripture if you are interested.
Ladies, this year we have decided that crunches may be a better alternative to sit-ups, because they are discovering that sit ups cause back problems and tissue damage due to the excessive compression that occurs each time someone does one.
So in summary....3000 sit-ups/crunches, Philippians 2:1-13, two weeks!
You can do it!
