[GT Navs] Nav Weekly 10.3.11

Hello everyone!!!

Thanks to everyone who went to Fall Conference! I know that for me it was a great time to rest physically and rest in the Lord.

Discipleship!!! If you are looking to be discipled 1-1 with someone who is older, please do not be afraid to ask someone. If you aren't sure, you can email me and I can help you find someone. Also realize that discipleship is a large part of Navs. It is a two way street. Someone may come up to you and ask you but if you want to be discipled but you can always go to them.

Nav Nite will be this Wednesday in Room 301. Demyan Lantukh will be speaking and it will be a wonderful night of fellowship and worship. Be there because it will be awesome!

HALLOWEEN PARTY!!! There will be a Halloween Party on Sunday October 30 in Brittan Rec at 7PM. It will be a lot of fun. Bible Studies will be in charge of providing certain food items for the event. Your bible study leader will let you know more closer to the event. RSVP on the facebook page:  http://www.facebook.com/event.php?id=252521724784515

Please pay Hannah $7 if your ordered a Nav shirt. The sooner she gets all the money, the sooner they get ordered! Her email is hannah.earle@gatech.edu.

There will be Prayer Night  at 4 PM by the CULC on Mondays. They will be meeting every week to intercede for our ministry, our campus, and our nation. Prayer is powerful so please come by and join in with the body of Christ.

Donny is our compassion child that we as Navigators have decided to sponsor. He is a wonderful child who we will help better his life. At Nav Nite there will be a board that has his letters, and more information. We recently received a new letter from Donny. If you would like to help support him, we pay compassion $32 every month. If you could bring just a couple of dollars to Nav Nite, there are enough of us to support him. Please help us support him!

If you are not in a BIBLE STUDY but would like to be, please email Nathan Evans at nevans3@gatech.edu or Chelsea Bailey atchelseabailey15@gmail.com

These were printed on bumper stickers and given out at an American Chemical Society meeting 10 or 12 years ago: It takes alkynes to make a world.

If you don't get it, well ask me on Wednesday at Nav Nite and I will explain :)

Have a great week everyone!!
