[GT Navs] Nav Weekly News 9/6/11

Hello everyone!!

I hope you all had a relaxing Labor Day weekend! To everyone who went on the camping trip, I hear it was tons of fun! Thanks to everyone who planned and made it a success!

If you are not in a BIBLE STUDY but would like to be, please email Nathan Evans at nevans3@gatech.edu or Chelsea Bailey atchelseabailey15@gmail.com
It is never to late to get involved! Many are meeting for the first time this week or will be starting up soon! Please get plugged in!!

EVENTS COMING UP:

Nav Nite is this Wednesday @ 8:30PM!! It will be the first one of the year and a great time! It is in room 301 of the Student Center. It will be a great night!! Can't wait to see everyone there!

There will be Prayer Night  at 7:30 PM before Nav Nite at the Free Speech area. If you don't know what that is [I sure didn't know], It is the smallish amphitheater in front of Drama Tech.

Donnie is our compassion child that we as Navigators have decided to sponsor. He is a wonderful child who we will help better his life. We can write letters and send him pictures of all of us. If you would like to help support him, we pay compassion $32 every month. If you could bring just a couple of dollars to Nav Nite, there are enough of us to support him. Please help us support him!

Fall Conference will be on September 30th-October 2nd in Cohutta Springs, GA. This is a great trip will all the Navigators in the Blue Ridge Region. Fran Sciacca will be throwin' down and is an amazing speaker that you must hear! More details to come!

In case you don't know, I am a Chemistry major and here is a great joke for you all! :)

What do you call a joke that is based on cobalt, radon, and yttrium?
CoRnY

If you don't get it, well ask me on Wednesday at Nav Nite and I will explain :)

Have a great week everyone!! See ya Wednesday!
