[GT Navs] Nav Weekly News 9.27.11

Hello everyone!!!

Hope you had a great weekend!!! Jackets are 4-0 so I know that makes me a happy camper :)

Discipleship!!! If you are looking to be discipled 1-1 with someone who is older, please do not be afraid to ask someone. If you aren't sure, you can email me and I can help you find someone. Also realize that discipleship is a large part of Navs. It is a two way street. Someone may come up to you and ask you but if you want to be discipled but you can always go to them.

We will not be having Nav Nite this week. It is one of the weeks that we couldn't get a room reserved in the Student Center. So we have decided that this week is Interministry Week. What that means is that if you know that some of the other ministries are meeting this week, go as an ambassador of not only Christ but of Navs as well. Find out what is going on in those ministries so that we can be praying for them and to be encouraged by the way the Spirit is working all over campus.

Also Grace Midtown is having their Live CD recording on Wednesday at 7:30. Doors open at 7. I encourage you to go and be apart of this wonderful time of worship! Get their early though because it is sure to be packed!

There will be Prayer Night  at 4 PM by the CULC on Mondays. They will be meeting every week to intercede for our ministry, our campus, and our nation. Prayer is powerful so please come by and join in with the body of Christ.

Donny is our compassion child that we as Navigators have decided to sponsor. He is a wonderful child who we will help better his life. At Nav Nite there will be a board that has his letters, and more information. We recently received a new letter from Donny. If you would like to help support him, we pay compassion $32 every month. If you could bring just a couple of dollars to Nav Nite, there are enough of us to support him. Please help us support him!

Fall Conference!!! is this weekend and is gonna be awesome! Fran Sciacca is throwin down the gospel this weekend and it will be tons of fun. Please if you have signed up fill out the Travel document so that I can organize rides for everyone. Since we do not have Nav Nite this week, give it to Chelsea Bailey if you see her, or give it to me and we will get it all taken care of.

If you are not in a BIBLE STUDY but would like to be, please email Nathan Evans at nevans3@gatech.edu or Chelsea Bailey atchelseabailey15@gmail.com

In case you don't know, I am a Chemistry major and here is a great joke for you all! :)

Q: What is the chemical formula for the molecules in candy?
A: Carbon-Holmium-Cobalt-Lanthanum-Tellurium or CHoCoLaTe

If you don't get it, well ask me on Wednesday at Nav Nite and I will explain :)

Have a great week everyone!!
