[GT Navs] Nav Weekly 8/19/11

Hello Wonderful Navigators!!

My name is Lauren Nichols and I am the new Chelsea Bailey, who you may be used to getting emails from! I will try to keep them short, simple, and to the point. Hope you all had wonderful summers and are pumped for the Fall Semester and the awesome times to come!


Events Coming Up:

WELCOME WEEK EVENTS: 
  • Monday 22nd: Come out and play Ultimate Frisbee with a trip to Waffle House afterwards! Meet at room 323 in the ULC. One of the girls in this apartment will be on the first floor to let you in. 6 PM for Frisbee and 8 PM for Waffle House. 
  • Tuesday 23rd: Kick-off Cookout!! Come out for great fellowship, free food and a great time at 7 PM on the IC Lawn. 
  • Wednesday 24th: Prayer and Worship Night @ Campanile at 8 PM
  • Thursday 25th: 
    • Ladies' Night with tea/coffee, movies and cookie decorating at 8th Street West Room 205 @ 6:30pm. Call Chelsea at 678-362-0769 to get into the building. 
    • "The Ultimate Showdown" for the Nav Men in North Ave North 333 @ 6PM. Call Scott Berninghaus at 770-653-1133 to have someone let you into North Ave. 
  • Friday 26th: Ice Cream Social & Games @ Nav House in home park at 7PM. If you need directions, call Chelsea Bailey at 678-362-0769.
 First NavNite will be August 31st in the Piedmont Room of the Student Center. THIS IS A WEDNESDAY NOT A THURSDAY!! Please pay attention to this. NavNite will be on Wednesday nights from 8:30 - 10 PM. Also the room will change occasionally. It will mostly be in room 301 but please read the emails to be sure.  

Camping Trip: September 2-3rd at Cloudland Canyon! It is a great trip every year! Sign up at the Cookout or at Nav Nite. 

Fall Conference will be on September 30th-October 2nd in Cohutta Springs, GA. This is a great trip will all the Navigators in the Blue Ridge Region. Fran Sciacca will be throwin' down and is an amazing speaker that you must hear! More details to come!
