[GT Navs] GT Week of Prayer 2011

Just wanted to make sure everyone got this... Thanks to Benjamin for posting this in the GT Navs Facebook group.

Someone from GT Crossroads is organizing a week of prayer (first week of the Fall semester)- same thing as last year, if you participated. You can sign up for one or more 15 minute time slots here, and it's then your responsibility and privilege to pray at that time each day of that week. Make sense?

The link for the Facebook event is here. Below is the info provided there:

Hey everyone,

This is an invitation to pray a certain time everyday for at least 15 minutes next week (8/14-8/20) for Georgia Tech, our ministry, and Atlanta in general. God has laid on my heart this desire for prayer - for corporate, powerful prayer - before we get into our hectic lives at Tech.

This is a brief vision: "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people...This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-4

We want to come together and ask that this year at Tech people would find new life in Jesus and that those who already know him would walk in unity, radical obedience, and love. Before the fall semester starts, we want to start praying for our campus together!

***Please RSVP by Friday the 12th!***
Here's the GoogleDoc so you can sign up for a time: https://spreadsheets2.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmKInacRd5VAdGZCNFcyaW1wSkFoc0VjSXUzeVRmZ0E&hl=en_US#gid=0

Just put your name beside the time slot that works best for you to pray every day during that week. (For instance, I would put my name by "10:30-10:45AM" if I wanted to pray from 10:30 to 10:45 in the morning every day of that week.) Thanks a lot! And feel free to invite anyone to this event who's interested in making Jesus famous on our campus. :)
