"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." -Romans 5:6-8
Make this week count!

[GT Navs] No House Dinner
Chef Jason is going to be too busy to make dinner tomorrow, and we can't find anyone else interested in taking on the job who is available. Because we're leaving for Colorado on Friday, postponing isn't feasible either. In short: no house dinner this week. Sorry :(

[GT Navs] 40 Days of Water
Hey guys, this is a reminder that 40 days of water starts tomorrow! Below is the description of it from blooodwatermission.org:
"It's a big commitment to not drink anything but water for Forty days. But from March 9 to April 23, that's exactly what we're asking you to do. To be clear: we're not asking you to fast for Forty days. We're just asking you to ditch the morning coffee and o.j., leave out the lunchtime soda, and cancel the evening beverage in lieu of clean water from the tap. By sacrificing your daily routine, you will make a difference in the daily routine of a person in Africa."
Also, you might have noticed that the total number of days is actually 46. Forty Days follows the traditional Lenten season calendar which consists of 40 fast days and 6 Sabbath rest days. So essentially you get one day a week off, most people take Sunday off. How you choose to observe Forty Days is up to you. We will donate all our money together to make a difference for our family around the world.
Looking forward to doing this with you guys!

[GT Navs] Calling God's People On Campus Together
Hey, everyone. I hope life is going well for you. We are fighting together. I write with the purpose of calling those who truly seek God individually to seek His face together consistently. Read below for a better explanation of something that is hard to put in writing because the Almighty God's work is beyond words. We do seek God together already in our individual lives, in Bible studies, at NavNight, and while we hang out, but we are talking of calling all of those who know Jesus on campus to come together consistently in the Student Center to take full identity as God's people and do as the Holy Spirit leads – dedicating ourselves to loving God, loving each other, the teaching of the Word, praying, worshiping, serving, eating, studying, and hanging out on a daily basis. We will seek God with all our hearts until He meets us or leads us to do otherwise. A few of us will start praying around 8:30 p.m. this Friday night. No one is going to be leading this time, but we are all free to do as the Holy Spirit leads each of us. We will not just be meeting Friday night, but we will be there whenever we can be there to seek God in this way. This will probably include over the weekend and in the weeks to come. We set no exact date after this but leave it open for all who are lead by the Holy Spirit to come together. We are prepared to set aside everything to obey our Love, that God may bless the people with whom we live at Georgia Tech. If you are interested, let God confirm his calling in your hearts to prepare and to come.
To call all those who truly know Jesus Christ to come together, we are going to post a simple flyer all around campus. We are going to cover campus with it so that if you follow Jesus Christ you cannot miss the opportunity to read it. We are going to be strategic. We are not going to be limited to bulletin boards, but we will put it on doors and walls all around campus. (We will make sure not to damage campus property.)
We are going to send an electronic copy of the flyer (letter) out on Monday to those who want to help post it around campus. Then, we will print it individually and can use Central PS if necessary. We are going to cover campus with it on Monday night and throughout the day Tuesday. To ensure that we get all of campus, I have made a google document found at the link below. If you would like to help post it around campus, then sign up for the buildings you would like to cover on the doc. Don't forget to save it.
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AtkjJRRhMx2OdDdzTks2VVdlMk5NWnNzal9BbUR4eUE&hl=en&pli=1&authkey=CLXlzKIC#gid=0
We live in a very special time, for God has fixed His eyes on Georgia Tech as a place where He wants all to have the opportunity to know Jesus Christ and to take Jesus to the world. He wants us to rise as warriors of love because His work is through us. We are all privileged sinners undeservingly saved by His love and called to partner with Him. Will we be bold to obey Him out of love and let nothing stop us from doing so except death, which is only gain?
One very important note – let's be anonymous that we are Navigators and take identity as children of God so as to set the example for others. Also, we will not take credit for anything for all belongs to our Lord. Feel free to forward this to anyone you think would be interested.
"All the believers were one in heart and mind. [...]" (Acts 4:32)
