[GT Navs] Spring Break Planning Meeting
Lauren Nichols
[GT Navs] Nav Weekly News 1.30.12
It was really great to see you all at Nav Nite last week!!! Hope you all have been meditating on the Word this week and really striving to hide it in your hearts.
Nav Nite is in the WCF building. Nav Nite starts at 8 PM so get there earlier than this if you want to socialize :) This is another ministry's building and we are borrowing their basement for this week. We just want to check it out and see how it goes. Please give feedback at the end of the night about which location you like better. The Ford building or meeting in the WCF building. Also this building in across from MPH and it on Techwood Dr. near the football stadium. Let me know if you need better directions! Can't wait to see you there!
Spring Break!!! We are going to New Orleans and it will be amazing! The trip dates are potentially March 17th-23rd and the cost will be between $200-$300. We are still working out the details for the exact cost. There will be fundraising opportunities and we hope you will join us. This trip will be SERVICE oriented and we will have a great time bringing the Kingdom for God in New Orleans. Contact Casey Jordan at cjordan31@gatech.edu if you have any other questions.
Smokey Mountain Summer is a summer training program (STP) that is in Pigeon Forge, TN and is a summer than you can dedicate to God in order to grow, mature and develop your relationship with God and your love for His people. You can find out more about this program by talking to myself, Casey Jordan, Scott Berninghaus, Alexa Corbit, or Kayla Nightingale, who were all there this past summer. There are also other people who are involved in Navigators who have gone to other locations or previous summers. The link to find out more is: http://www.navigators.org/us/ministries/college/stp/collegiate-stp/smoky-mountain-summer The applications are due by February 19th so please be praying about how God will use your summer!
Donny is our compassion child that we as Navigators have decided to sponsor. He is a wonderful child who we will help better his life. At Nav Nite there will be a board that has his letters, and more information. We recently received a new letter from Donny. If you would like to help support him, we pay compassion $32 every month. If you could bring just a couple of dollars to Nav Nite, there are enough of us to support him. Please help us support him!
Funny Joke in General :)
"hmmm...," the man says, " I was married to the same woman for 50 years and never cheated on her, even in my heart."

[GT Navs] Nav Weekly 1.23.12
It was really great to see you all at Nav Nite last week! It was so great to hear just the mission for this semester and a reminder of the things that we should be striving to see in our lives. I love the image of the fruit of the Spirit and how if we are abiding in Jesus then we will bear good fruit.

Chemistry Joke :)
The Last words of a chemist:
- First the acid, then the water...
- And now the tasting test.
- Why is there no label on this bottle?
- This is a completely safe experimental setup.

It was really great to see you all at Nav Nite last week! It was great to hear so many testimonies of how the Lord has been moving in all of our lives!
Nav Nite is in the same location this week. It is in the ES&T building, or the Ford building, in room L1205 at 8 PM. The Ford building is in the Biotech quad across from Klaus. There will be someone standing at the entrance of the building to let people in, and also to direct you to the room so you don't get lost.

I hope you all have had a fabulous Christmas break and really got to meditate about our Savior, who is fully God yet gave up part of His glory to come dwell as fully man. I know that break was a great time to relax and rest in the presence of God and I pray that all of you were able to get recharged for a wonderful semester!
